Threshold Unit Group

ニューロンの電気特性を模倣した閾値素子をパイ共役系高分子物質の非線形電気伝導特性を用いて実現します。特に、高分子物質の相転移といった非線形分岐現象を利用したノイズ発生に注目しています。

神経シナプスを模倣した高分子電界効果トランジスタの開発を行っています。特に、一方向信号伝達性や履歴特性やノイズ発生に注目し、素子集団の創発的協調動作の実現を目指しています。

微視的スケールの不安定性を巨視的スケールで利用するための自己組織化プロセスの開発を、特にバイオベースポリマーを用いて行っています。このプロセスをノイズ発生といった確率的電子デバイス素子の実現に役立てます。

高分子エレクトロニクスデバイスのスピン依存過程を電流検出磁気共鳴法によって明らかにしています。また、磁気共鳴現象をデバイス駆動原理としたスピンシナプスデバイスの創製も行っています。さらに、磁気共鳴イメージングの手法開発も行っています。
